Since the inception of JV, our financing and advisory services expanded into multi-disciplinary energy solutions in various sectors in power and energy markets in emerging Asia. Since it’s operation in Bangladesh, the company successfully participated in project development for various renewable energy projects with it’s Affiliate and partner, EquipAsia. Given our strategic alliances, the company operates under the management and guidance including investments from InfracoAsia and reputed publicly enlisted companies.
Job Detail:
The 3GL portfolio has expanded to more than 150 MW in over just three years. The company is responsible for the provision of the means for an accelerated renewable energy technology uptake, investments and considering national conditions of resource endowment, social and economic frameworks - serve as a advisory hub both for project development and commissioning of RE based projects for our global partners. The idea is to create a collaborative platform for knowledge transfer, experience sharing and harnessing homegrown technologies - contributing to the global knowledge hub. Hence our slogan - “Global is the new Local”. In accordance with the 3GL Statute, activities in this field include analysis of renewable energy technology policies; dissemination of information and increased awareness; technologies and equipment overview and assessment of land, due diligence and objective reporting on success-failure factors for 3GL Smart Lessons; improved pertinent knowledge and technology transfer, and joint R&D and provision of information about the development and deployment of national and international technical standards in relation to renewable energy projects ranging from large solar parks, to nano-grids and rooftop projects. We deliver businesses and governments with practical and timely solutions - in other words SMART* solutions.
Background
The need for adequate project development skills, specifically related to renewable energy technologies, is key to the further deployment of renewable energy. Despite the maturity of some renewable energy technologies (RETs), many renewable energy projects still face the challenges that innovative projects usually encounter such as technical complexity and difficulty accessing financing. In response, 3GL Project Navigator will help local/global developers during the development and implementation of renewable energy projects, by making the whole project development process more transparent and explicit.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of Country Head - Project Associate - "Project Navigator" will:
• Contribute to the further development of the global andlocal partners for Project platform and its integration with other project development and facilitation tools of the Agency;
• Contribute to the preparation of state-of-the-art reports and other written material and related outreach activities (Technical Concept Guidelines, workshops, conference participation, webinars, presentations etc.);
• Contribute to the development of supporting tools, templates and case studies;
• Support coaching and mentoring programs, planned to support and clarify engagement prospects with 3GL platform;
• Assist in the engagement with project development stakeholders, development banks and funds that offer financing programmes for renewable energy projects and identify their requirements;
• Interact with other internal and external stakeholders as requested;
• Perform other tasks as required;

Qualifications
Education: Anyone with general interest in the power and infrastructure development. You could be in engineering, finance, business administration, management, or a related field to our company goals.
A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Work experience:
Experience in renewable energy energy management or project development is a major plus point; Proven ability to cooperate diplomatically in multicultural environments; Demonstrates competence of subject matter as well as strong commitments in work, observing deadlines and achieving results; Perform multidisciplinary tasks and prioritize the tasks assigned. Languages: Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
